Fisetin is one of the newer names in the longevity supplement world - and one of the lesser understood.
Capsules are the main way people take it, and they are hard to compare: doses range from 250mg to 800mg a day, bottle sizes differ, and not every brand states its purity. This guide compares four UK Fisetin supplements on stated purity, dose, testing and real cost per month, and is straightforward about what the research does and doesn't show.
This guide compares Fisetin capsules only. Powders, blends and multi-ingredient formulas are not covered here.
Quick answer
Look for a Fisetin supplement that states its purity as a percentage, backs it with a published lab certificate rather than one that is only "available on request", and tells you the exact dose in every capsule. As with any longevity supplement, a brand that is transparent is worth favouring.
Manapura's Pure Fisetin states 400mg per capsule, one capsule a day, with a published third-party lab certificate showing 100% purity (HPLC, against a specification of at least 98%). It is made to cGMP and ISO 9001 standards. That is the highest purity stated by any of the four brands compared here, and Manapura is the only one that publishes a dated, product-specific certificate to back it up. Per 1,000mg of fisetin it also costs less than Charava and slightly less than a single bottle from Do Not Age.
What to look for in a Fisetin supplement
Fisetin supplements vary widely in what they contain, and the newness of the category means label claims are even less standardised. Before comparing brands, here is what actually matters:
-
Stated purity: Purity should be stated as a specific percentage, not just as an unquantified marketing phrase. A published, dated certificate is stronger than a certificate that is only "available on request" or in-house testing.
-
Independent testing: Look for a brand that publishes a certificate from an independent, third-party lab, ideally for its own product rather than its supplier's.
-
Manufacturing standard: cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) certification means the product is made in a facility meeting recognised quality and safety standards. ISO 9001 covers the wider quality management system.
-
Clearly stated dose: The label should state an exact milligram amount per capsule and per day. Doses on the UK market run from 250mg to 800mg a day, and research-only doses are far higher, so context matters.
-
Absorption: Fisetin is fat-soluble and poorly absorbed on its own, so several brands recommend taking it with a fat-containing meal. This is a genuine, evidence-based absorption point, not marketing.
- Real cost per month: Pack sizes and day-supply claims vary. The fair comparison is cost per month at the dose the brand itself recommends, not the headline pack price.
Where the evidence on Fisetin actually stands
Fisetin's evidence base is earlier-stage than better-studied longevity ingredients like NMN or Berberine. The foundational study, published in EBioMedicine in 2018, found that Fisetin was the most potent of ten flavonoids tested for senolytic activity - the ability to help clear senescent ("zombie") cells - and extended health and lifespan in mice. It is well-regarded preclinical research, although early stage.
Human data continues to grow. A 2024 pilot study - the first to look at Fisetin's effect on biological ageing markers in healthy adults over 50 - gave ten participants 500mg of Fisetin a day for one week a month over six months. Four of the ten results showed a reduction in biological age by one epigenetic measure. No adverse effects were reported. Larger human trials are underway in other settings, using larger doses.

How the leading UK Fisetin supplements compare
We compared Manapura against three other UK Fisetin supplements. Every figure below was checked directly against each brand's own UK product page and store data on 17th October 2026.
| Brand | Stated purity | Dose per day | Capsules per bottle | Strength per capsule | Testing / Certification | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Manapura Pure Fisetin | 100% | 400mg (1 capsule) | 60 (60-day supply) | 400mg | cGMP, ISO 9001. Third-party, dated, certificate published | £74.00 per bottle one-time buy. £37.00/month at 1 capsule a day. About £3.08 per 1,000mg of fisetin. |
| Charava Fisetin 250mg | Not stated as a % | 250mg (1 capsule) | 30 (30-day supply) | 250mg | Third-party tested for purity (stated). GMP-certified UK facilities (stated) | Sold out when checked. Page displays £59.99/month on subscription (£74.99 struck through). About £4.00 per 1,000mg at £29.99. |
| Welzo Ultra Purity Fisetin Pro | 98.65% | 500mg (2 capsules) | 60 (30-day supply). Also 120 and 180 | 250mg (500mg per 2-capsule serving) | Third-party, dated, certificate published | £19.99 per 60-capsule bottle one-time buy (currently 50% off £39.99). £19.99/month at 2 capsules a day. About £1.33 per 1,000mg. |
| Do Not Age Pure Fisetin | 99.8% (stated) | 800mg (2 capsules) | 60 (30-day supply) | 400mg | GMP and ISO 9001 (stated). Says batches are tested in-house and by an independent lab; we found no certificate published on the page | £76.00 per bottle one-time buy. £76.00/month at 2 capsules a day. About £3.17 per 1,000mg. |
Cost per 1,000mg divides the bottle price by the total milligrams of fisetin in it. Charava's Fisetin was sold out when checked, so its figures are those displayed on its page and in its store data rather than prices confirmed at checkout. Welzo's 60-capsule price is currently a 50% promotion from £39.99. Prices checked on 17th October 2026 and may be subject to change. GMP = Good Manufacturing Practice. cGMP = current Good Manufacturing Practice.
Three things stand out. First, dose varies far more here than in more established categories - from 250mg to 800mg a day across these four brands.
Second, verification is inconsistent across the category. Manapura states the highest purity of the four (100%, against 99.8% (stated) for Do Not Age, 98.65% for Welzo and no percentage for Charava) and Manapura is the only one that publishes a dated, product-specific independent certificate showing it. Do Not Age states 99.8% purity and says batches are tested in-house and by an independent lab, but we found no certificate on its page. Welzo states 98.65% and links a Certificate with no lab name or details given. Charava does not state a purity percentage.
Third, on price, it helps to compare like for like. Per 1,000mg of fisetin, Manapura works out at about £3.08 as a one-time buy, against about £4.00 for Charava and about £3.17 for a single bottle of Do Not Age. Welzo, who do not offer a named lab testing certificate, is the cheapest, at about £1.33 on its current promotion (about £2.67 at its regular price). Manapura's 60-capsule bottle also lasts 60 days at one capsule a day, twice as long as the 30-day bottles from the other three brands, so you reorder half as often.
Convenience differs too. Manapura and Charava are a single capsule a day, while Welzo and Do Not Age need two. Manapura's 400mg capsule is the same strength as Do Not Age's, although Manapura’s jar lasts twice as long.
The brands reviewed, in detail
Manapura Pure Fisetin
Manapura's Pure Fisetin provides a clearly stated 400mg in each capsule, taken once a day with a meal containing some fat for absorption, from a 60-capsule (60-day) bottle. Its third-party certificate, from Certified Group, shows a maximum and unbeatable purity result of 100% (HPLC) against a specification of at least 98%, and is published in the Manapura Trust Centre with its date and batch. It is made to cGMP and ISO 9001 standards, is vegan, and currently has 13 customer reviews, rated 5.0.
It is priced at £74.00 one-time, which works out at £37.00 a month, and one of the cheapest priced per gram of product.
Charava Fisetin 250mg
Charava's Fisetin provides 250mg in one capsule a day, from a 30-capsule bottle (a 30-day supply). It states that every batch is third-party tested for purity and that it is made in GMP-certified UK facilities, but it does not state a purity percentage on the page. When we checked, the product was sold out. Its page displayed £59.99, struck through from £74.99, so we could not confirm which price applies once it is back in stock.
Welzo Ultra Purity Fisetin Pro
Welzo doses Fisetin at 500mg across two daily capsules, standardised to a stated 98.65% purity, from a 60-capsule bottle (a 30-day supply). Its page describes testing and links a Certificate of Analysis, though the file does not contained a named lab, so we could not confirm it’s testing via a third party. The 60-capsule bottle is currently on a 50% promotion at £19.99 (from £39.99).
Do Not Age Pure Fisetin
Do Not Age doses two daily capsules of 400mg each. It states a purity of 99.8% and says batches are tested in-house and by an independent lab, and that it is produced to GMP and ISO 9001 standards, but we found no certificate published on the page. A 60-capsule bottle is £76.00 (a 30-day supply at two capsules a day).
What is Fisetin, and what is it studied for?
Fisetin is a naturally occurring flavonoid found in small amounts in strawberries, apples, persimmons and other fruits and vegetables. It has attracted longevity research interest for its potential senolytic activity - the ability, shown in cell and animal studies, to help selectively clear senescent cells: cells that have stopped dividing but remain active, accumulating with age and thought to contribute to age-related tissue dysfunction - as described in our What Is Longevity article.
Of the flavonoids studied for this property, Fisetin has shown the strongest effect in preclinical research. That research is promising, and more human research is underway.
What does purity mean on a Fisetin label?
A purity percentage tells you how much of what is in the capsule's active ingredient is actually fisetin. It is usually measured by a lab method such as HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography), and a specification (for example "at least 98%") is the minimum a batch must meet. A result of 100% against a specification of at least 98% means the batch tested above the minimum.
Purity is not the whole story: it does not tell you the dose, and a figure is only as good as the evidence behind it. A certificate that names the lab, the product, the sample, and the date can be checked. A figure from in-house testing, or a certificate that is only available on request, asks you to take the claim on trust.
How much Fisetin should you take?
The four brands recommend 250mg (Charava), 400mg (Manapura), 2 x 250mg (Welzo) or 2 x 400mg (Do Not Age) a day. Because Fisetin is fat-soluble, taking it with a meal containing some fat is generally recommended for better absorption.
Fisetin supplements are intended for healthy adults and are not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Speak to a healthcare professional first if you are taking medication or managing a health condition.

The bottom line
Fisetin is one of the newer ingredients in the longevity category: with promising preclinical research, and positive on-going human studies. That makes independent verification more important here, not less. If the science is still developing, the one thing a brand can control and prove today is whether its product contains what it says, at the purity it states.
On that measure, Manapura states the highest purity of the four brands (100%) and is the only one that publishes a dated, product-specific certificate from a lab we could verify, and it costs less per 1,000mg than Charava and a single bottle of Do Not Age. It isn't the cheapest or the highest-dose option: Welzo costs less per month and per milligram, but does not publish a verifiable test certificate.
FAQs
What is the best Fisetin supplement in the UK?
It depends on what matters most to you. On independently verified purity, Manapura publishes a dated, product-specific certificate showing 100% purity. On lowest cost, Manapura’s cost per gram is only beaten by Welzo. But Welzo do not publish a test certificate from a named third party lab.
What is Fisetin studied for?
Mainly for its potential senolytic activity, helping clear senescent cells in cell and animal studies. Human research is still early and continues to develop.
How much does a Fisetin supplement cost in the UK?
The bottles compared here cost between £19.99 (Welzo, 250mg capsules, currently on promotion) and £76.00 (Do Not Age, 60 x 400mg capsules), with Manapura at £74.00 also for 60 x 400mg capsules.
How much Fisetin should I take, and how?
Consumer products provide 250mg to 800mg a day. Taking it with a meal containing some fat is generally recommended, since Fisetin is fat-soluble and poorly absorbed on its own.
What does purity mean on a Fisetin label?
It states how much of the active ingredient is fisetin, usually measured by a lab method such as HPLC. A published certificate that names the lab, the product, the sample number, and date is stronger evidence than in-house testing or a certificate available only on request.
Is Fisetin safe?
Fisetin is widely available as a food supplement in the UK, and the human studies reported no adverse effects. It is intended for healthy adults. Speak to a healthcare professional before starting if you take medication, have a health condition, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Where can I buy a high-purity Fisetin supplement in the UK?
Manapura's Pure Fisetin is available directly at manapura.co, with a published third-party lab certificate showing its purity, made to cGMP and ISO 9001 standards.
